Baby alpaca wool is a natural material that is obtained from the Alpaca species. The fiber is soft and hypoallergenic, with excellent insulating and thermal qualities, and is long-lasting.
The Alpaca species are members of the Camelid family and are mainly found in remote regions of the Peruvian Andes in South America. Alpacas graze in herds on natural terrains at elevations of 3,500-5,000 meters (11,000-16,000 feet) above sea level and eat only herbs.
Their diet combined with their padded feet causes little disturbance of vegetation, pollution, or harm to the environment, making baby alpaca wool a sustainable, eco-friendly material.
